I have recently joined Telstra and have a F@ST 5335 installed in my appartment with FTTB.
I'm having contstant issues with the WiFi service on this router - the network will from time to time just stop working, some devices seem to be OK, but others devices cannot connect. e.g. when I get home, my portable devices cannot connect but other deivces already at home are working ok. Other times everything stops working. All the lights are lit correclty on the router. Ultimately it gets to the point where one of these scenarios happens - 1. Can't see the SSIDs for the Wifi networks, 2. Can see but cannot connect to the SSIDs. In this scenario I get a password prompt and even with the correctr password cannot connect.
This is happening at least once a day and the only solution I have found that works is doing a factory reset using the reset button on the front of the router. Just rebooting does not seem to work.
Any sugegstions? I'm thinking at this stage that buying another VDSL2+ modem would be the best bet. Can anyone recommend either a solution to fix the wifi issue, or an alternative modem that will work with NBN/FTTB?
