Hi, i recently had FTTN connected with telstra and wishing i didn't.
can someone please help me out with some information on how i can get my latency (ping) down on FTTN??
speedtest results via speedtest.net and speedtest.telstra.com:
ADSL2+ ( interleaving off ) to Adelaide was 10-12ms ping with 14-15mbit down and 0.89mbit up CONSISTENTLY...
FTTN to adelaide 21-25ms ping 20-24mbit down 4-6mbit up and random times my ping it in the 30-40's.
I was expecting to get 5-10ms ping with FTTN as my copper is new as im in a new development and my adsl2+ speed was above average.
is there any way i can change my line profile on FTTN? ( like interleaving with adsl )
after many calls to telstra tech support / nbn telstra tech support i am really sick of trying to explain to the supposed "TECH SUPPORT" that "ping/latency" and "bandwith" are NOT the same thing.
please help me
