Why is it that despite being in a Velocity Estate "FTTH Baldivis" paying for the top speeds, all the best gear and less than 1 Km from the exchange and estates around me on NBN, I now can not get a consistent speed on my downloads, despite uploads being consistent?. I'm dropping down to 0.20 mbps. I used to get 80 mbps "yes I know thats good" consistently and now i'm getting as low as 0.15 consistently fluctuating back up to 45-49mbps. My speeds are fluctuating by the minute it seems. Telstra have told me it's because my uploads are taking away from my download speed and I'm on congested Card-surely Fibre would allow equal speeds. Plan restricts uploads to 5mbps. I'm sitting hear watching my netgear graph as my son plays PS4 and upload has topped at 1.8mbps briefly? If this is "Congestion" then as the NBN rollout fiasco continues this would appear to mean we are destined for pre ADSL 2+ speeds on Fibre. Or am I and the telstra tech's missing something?
