Telstra has sent me a NBN Connection Kit. However I have a redential lift with emergency phone. Currently this phone connects via direct access (splitter to wall plug in series) with outside fixed phone line (ADSL2). NBN connection kit says this phone won't work. Telstra said to talk to NBN. NBN said to talk to Telstra. Lift supplier says phone provider (Telstra) will bring a "box" that allows a plug in of existing phone lines so lift phone will work as before. Does anyone know if this is correct or other solution? I can't seem to get to talk to a Telstra "technical" person to confirm. Thanks.
