So was previously on Telstra cable 100mbps plan offpeak I would get 132mbps down and about 2 up. During peak would be about 90-102mbps, switched over to the NBN yesterday, offpeak get 97/38 but hit 3pm EST drops down to about 50/38. As of posting this 24/38 at it's worst last night around 7pm, I was down to 8.81mbps/38. Rang up Telstra and the tech team telling me it's not possible for HFC to have congestion problem like that there is congestion problem, if I've ever seen one ( this happen to me previously as well on cable until they upgraded capacity for my exchange). How do I get them to admit they have a congestion problem. Shouldn't have switched over to NBN n just stayed on cable.
