I am wondering if we are able to manage a Telstra telephone VOIP service on a modem rather than Telstra managing it in the cloud?
We have the latest Telstra Netgear modem and would like to run some older telephones. Since having to upgrade to the NBN we have lost use of all of our telephones as we can only use the VOIP Cisco phone that Telstra have supplied.
Can anyone advise if we can manage the VOIP service from the modem so that we can plug in an older phone for use?
