When I pick up the landline phone I get a stuttered dial tone.
What does this mean, and how can I get rid of it?
I have the NBN connected.
I have previously turned of Home Messages 101, and have never set up Message Bank. I do not want either of these services.
I wonder whether the strange dial tone could actually cause a problem?
I have dialled #99# and received the response "your messagebank service is off"
If i dial 101 it says "welcome to telstra message bank. since this is the first time you've used TMB, [go throught hte setup process]"
