I just went through a 'crowd support' chat session then through the hoops at Telstra Team 24x7 support, promised the world from the beginning, answering questions, making choices, giving information, only to be steered at then into the cul de sac:
Telstra Cannot Give NBN support. (to paraphrase).
Why isn't this up there front and centre? Instead of at the end of a long tedious and annoying process?
How smart, how savvy, how clever, how user-friendly is that?
AND - how legitimate is it given the problem is with a phone that has Telstra written all over it?
I don't even want or need NBN help.
The NBN itself works fine.
The phone keeps beeping. The phone, handset or cradle, has problems, is broken.
That particular problem has fallen, apparently, between the cracks.
No menu choice on the ubiquitous drop down menus. No option on the radio buttons. No item in the lists.
And never, ever, can you go somewhere and talk to a human and just say it!!
No. No. No. Don't tell me, I've just been there. Crowd Help, Community Help and so on are NOT Telstra.
They are a Telstra cop-out, a cunning device to deflect.
Why don't they get real and start putting things the right way round.
Menu choices right at the beginning of it all include NBN. Again and again. But, in the end, NBN they disavow entirely.
All NBN problems belong to NBN and Telstra doesn't want to know.
They just want to hassle you for a while.
What are they - a bunch of sadists, machiavellian tormentors?
