Hi there, hope this is the suitable area to post.
Simply put I am moving home from Cable to a property with NBN. I have 5 months remaining on my contact 50gb with phone line. With credit inclusions, which I am keen to keep, total cost is $57.90.
One Telstra operator told me I would have to commence a new 24 month contract at $75 for 100gb and lose all my current inclusions bad luck so sad. I felt I was speaking to the wrong person as he was quite rude.
I tried my luck via 24x7 chat and the operator there guaranteed that I could move from cable to the new house with the NBN and I will receive exactly the same service and costs as I have been for the remainder of the contract.
Does anyone know what actually happens?
It was my belief that unless Teslatr could provide you with service as per you contract when you move then you are entitled to cancel the contract. This would free me up to explore other provider options or at least say to someone at Telstra what are they going to do to to be more competitive.
Any advice appreciated..
