Could you explain to me why I am currently denied basic internet and phone services to my new home at Williams Landing?
I had lived at Wetlands Blvd Williams Landing for nearly 9 years, During that time I was connected to the internet via some ancient technology, yes, the venerable ADSL2 copper line, network with connection services provided by Telstra. Through this supposed third world technology I was able to run some 20 odd internet connected digital devices plus a landline phone, all while screening Netflix on two TVs. Oh, how I long for the simpler times.....
I have now relocated to Sayers Road Williams Landing, sadly, the NBN is available there so I am not able to enjoy the benefits of ADSL services due to some legislation that forces users to migrate to NBN if it is available. Now that would be great if the NBN Co could be bothered connecting the service, but no, apparently their techs have better things to do than connect new subscribers, Macca's seems to be where they congregate to discuss how to avoid pesky customers over a late' or two. I have now been without phone or internet services to my new home for two months and, Telstra tells me, the proposed resolution date of 29 May supplied by NBN Co is purely for entertainment purposes and should not be taken seriously.
I have lodged complaints with Telstra, NBN Co, TIO, Communications Minister (Paul Fletcher), Local Minister (Joanne Ryan) however I am still without internet.
The problem is simple - there is a blockage in the Lead In Conduit (LIC) that requires a man armed with a shovel to fix it (I would - however I am not certified and may face a long incaceration term if I dare touch it)
I am now denied internet services because of a landscaping issue?
Looking forward to your response.
