Well time for another NBN install nightmare story.
I won't bore everyone with the full narrative but in summary.
As were are existing phone / ADSL2+ customers we signed up with Telstra for NBN.
Today was out scheduled NBN install date.
After a lot stuffing around the NBN contractors install the NTD in the agreed upon location but they hit upon an issue and state they need to come back as they can't complete the connection (note the Optical light is red on the NTD).
Note our scheduled Telstra modem install is the 19th April.
I get home from work and discover the home phone is dead with no dial tone although the Internet is connected and working fine.
I speak to Telstra faults after initially calling NBN and after doing a line check Telstra claim it's a line fault despite the fact the Internet is working fine.
Is this an accounts / transposition issue or an actual fault?
