Telstra Gateway Max - Devices can't see 5Ghz network

Hi,

I have just recently set up my Telstra Gateway Max on the NBN. All is working fine but I cannot find the 5GHz network in my wifi connection on my laptop. My laptop searches for networks whenever you click on the wifi icon. I have gone into telstra gateway and both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz are enabled (I can get the 5 on my mobile). Just not sure where else to search.
